The Compagnie Varsorio, created in 2002, has the artistic ambition, through the creation of original shows, to promote contemporary mask theater.
The activity of Compagnie Varsorio unfolds in the fields of theatrical research, creation and pedagogy. The mask is his essential artistic support, a real centerpiece of his shows, but also a fundamental element of the pedagogy provided during courses or awareness workshops. Through the work of its artistic directors, the Company defends its own aesthetic. Her work, the tests she conducts with the public and in her research, help her to develop at the same time a new pedagogy of the theater of masks. This is inspired by the work of other pedagogues while trying to renew the genre, to build a clean and personal identity.
